HOW TO GO ABOUT PILOT TRAINING IN 7 STEPS!

FIGURE OUT YOUR FLYING GOALS

Whether you want to fly for fun or make a career out of it, is up to you to decide. For the record, the aviation industry is facing a shortage of pilots around the globe.

WHICH TYPE OF AIRCRAFT YOU WANT FLY?

Find out if you are interested in flying a plane, helicopter, glider or some other flying machine.

DETERMINE YOUR BUDGET!

Go to www.flyosk.com/cost-calculator and calculate the average cost of the pilot certification you want to go for. If it's on the higher side for you, don't get disheartened. There are always scholarships/financing options available.

FIND A CFI

Shortlist CFIs based on their FLYOSK PROFILE who have good student reviews, substantial instruction hours and can train you in the type of aircraft you want to fly.

MEET THE CFI PERSONALLY

Get to know him/her better to see if you are comfortable training with them. You will be spending a ton of time together, so a good rapport is a must!

DISCUSS THE ASPECTS OF YOUR TRAINING

Your CFI can help you choose a flying club or school that fits in your budget and has the aircraft to support your training. Your CFI will also help you obtain your medical certificate, recommend books and attend the ground school.

GET A COOL PILOT HEADSET!

And other pilot stuff (of course suggested by your CFI) along with a bright sunny day to begin and embark on the most adventurous experience of your life!
